Men Are Neanderthals

When Svante Paabo and his team sequenced the Neanderthal genome in 2010, they received requests for testing from members of the public who believed they might have Neanderthal ancestry. They were all males.

However, he also received requests from women who wrote in to have their husbands’ DNA checked against Neanderthal DNA. Interestingly, not a single man suspected that his wife was Neanderthal. 😆
