UK’s top forensic pathologist Dr Richard Sherperd sometimes felt indignant when astute defence counsels discredited his findings and even his professionalism. But he doesn’t want any changes in the system that would make his job easier for he realised how important these “scoundrels” are if he ever ends up in the dock one day.Glossing over the legal process is welcome by folks whose egos do not allow them to imagine that they would ever end up in the shoes of lesser mortals.
