BGR in Singapore – Safe To Say That All Men Are Pigs

BGR in Singapore

So there’s this guy who went on Instagram to talk about falling TFR and BGR in Singapore, taking the safe side by blaming the men. He said that it’s our men’s inferiority that makes them less desirable. It’s not the women’s fault. They look good, they’re well-educated … it’s just that Singapore doesn’t produce quality guys. A powerful statement and I guess he knows it’s safe to say that because low quality guys like me won’t call him names and fight him to the ends of the world.

But it’s true that a safe country would not just produce wimps who are afraid of crossing the road without traffic lights. But does he know that a safe country also produces karens who demand to be treated like princesses? The next thing that he said is somewhat problematic. The Singaporean male is not attractive to the Singaporean female because he can’t fight? Yao mo gao chor ah?

Then he goes on to flatter the females by saying that they are more attractive than the guys in general because they have better social skills, they have a need to bond with one another like going to the toilet as a group for instance and by comparing among themselves – as if the guys don’t do that – they achieve certain standards that the guys can never achieve. He thus believes that the quality of women in Singapore is higher than the quality of men. Without suitable partners for are good enough for them, women would naturally end up being single. It’s not their fault. It’s the men’s fault for not bucking up.

Then he sympathized with the mighty women, saying that it’s unfair as men have a choice of marrying foreigners. He blames the government for closing an eye and opening our doors to females from China, Vietnam, Thailand. So the guys have more options? What about the foreign men who are also quite readily let in? He believes that our guys are financially stronger than other guys in the region, making them more attractive to the women in the region. While that may be true, our women also speak much better English than their counterparts in the region. Won’t they stand a much better chance with successful men from developed countries? If they want men who can fight, they should check out the muay Thai training centres in Thailand.

Oh, so our BGR guru cum feminist uncle is curiously feeling the pain that our ladies ought to feel. What’s wrong with his take on BGR in Singapore? Just about everything. Like the crazy woke feminist, he’s trying to please an ostensibly disadvantaged tribe by declaring them superior and hence have every right not to date or marry subpar men. It’s perfectly safe to say that because our subpar men are not likely to get angry over such a stupid remark.

I’ve already mentioned that our government does not selectively bring in nubile females so that our pathetic, underachieving men have something to make do with. Do foreign women really have lower standards? Sometimes fairly but often unfairly, they have been labelled as golddiggers.

Hunkle wants to be fair here. This feminist uncle is obviously just pandering to the ladies. Does he need to tell our confident and successful ladies that there’s nothing wrong with them? It’s just that I don’t think our guys are inferior either. The education system and doting mothers and maids have made them nerdy. Truth be told, I was also a clueless nerd with little social skills until I started travelling alone and immersed myself in cultures that are more relaxed, forgiving, non-judgmental and open-minded.

Did this transformation into a suave adventurer make me more attractive to the Singaporean female? Certainly not. In spite of my newfound confidence derived from independent travel and the pursuit of passion and romance, I still fell short on the Singaporean women’s yardstick. Professionals are defined by the cars they drive, the houses they live in and their country club memberships. They don’t have to sing well or write poetry. Faced with a long list of requirements, the poor Singaporean guy gets hit hard in the self esteem department. Sure, they get mocked and branded as subpar losers when they marry foreign women, but it should be noted that not every one of us who married foreign wives wanted a maid or housekeeper. Nope, our government didn’t let in too many of them. If anything, our government has let in too many men who compete with us for jobs and too few marriageable women (work permit holders excluded).

Ximending

I remember the time I was wandering around Ximending in Taipei looking for photogenic subjects. A lady in an interesting harajuku dress sense caught my eye. I only had to look at her for more than one second and nod before she posed for me. The Singaporean woman would have called the police. Feminist uncle is right.

It’s simply absurd for feminist uncle to feel upset for our women. You’ve rejected men you consider unsuitable because they are inferior. What right have you got to complain when they are picked up by someone else? It’s like a boss who rejected a candidate after the interview getting angry and say that it’s unfair that the government should allow lesser companies to hire that unsuccessful candidate. The guys on the other hand, don’t really have an issue with the Singaporean woman if they find some Western or Indian expat who meets their high standards. At most the guys call them sarong party girls.
